On April 14, 2025, City Office REIT's subsidiary agreed to contribute land for a new mixed-use tower project in Tampa, in exchange for a 50% interest in the Developer, with a land value capped at $20 million. The Developer plans to build 70,000 sq ft of office space, 15,000 sq ft of retail, and 432,000 sq ft of residential units, with construction expected to take about three years.
