On July 10, 2025, Southern Company appointed David P. Poroch as the new Executive Vice President and CFO effective July 31, 2025, succeeding Daniel S. Tucker who is set to retire on October 1, 2025. Tucker will continue as a senior advisor under a consulting agreement paying him $300,000 annually until September 30, 2027.
