Transocean Ltd. has been awarded a 1,080-day contract for a high-specification ultra-deepwater drillship in offshore Mexico, beginning between the final quarter of 2025 and the second quarter of 2026. The contract, which will contribute approximately $518 million in backlog, not including revenue for mobilization and demobilization, permits the selection of one out of three listed drillships.
