Ovintiv Inc. has entered into two credit agreements totaling $2.5 billion to finance the acquisition of assets from Paramount Resources Ltd., with one loan of $1.5 billion for 364 days and another of $1 billion for two years, both having interest rates dependent on credit ratings.
