CRISPR Therapeutics AG and Vertex Pharmaceuticals have announced that the FDA has accepted the Biologics License Applications for their investigational treatment for severe sickle cell disease and transfusion-dependent beta thalassemia, and both pivotal trials for the treatment have met primary and key secondary endpoints.
