CRISPR Therapeutics AG entered into a non-exclusive license agreement with Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated to license certain gene editing intellectual property for the treatment of diabetes, receiving an upfront payment of $100 million and eligible for milestone payments and royalties.
