On September 22, 2025, Compass, Inc. entered into a merger agreement with Anywhere Real Estate Inc. where Anywhere will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Compass, with an exchange ratio of 1.436 shares of Compass for each share of Anywhere. The merger is expected to be financed through a $750 million debt commitment and will involve stockholder approvals for completion.
