Canaan Inc. has initiated a new at-the-market equity offering program to sell up to $270 million of American depositary shares (ADS) through several sales agents, effective December 23, 2024; the proceeds will support research, expansion, and general corporate purposes. In a previous offering, the company sold over 31 million ADSs from November 2023 to December 2023, generating approximately $61.2 million.
