Alerus Financial Corp has entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger with HMN Financial, Inc., pursuant to which HMN Financial will merge into Alerus Financial, with the Company as the surviving corporation. The Merger is subject to the approval of the stockholders of each company and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
