On May 9, 2025, Gryphon Digital Mining, Inc. entered a merger agreement with American Bitcoin Corp. (ABTC), where ABTC will survive the merger, resulting in Gryphon being renamed to American Bitcoin Corp. and ABTC's shareholders receiving approximately 98% of the combined company's equity.
