Synovus Financial Corp and Pinnacle Financial Partners merged on January 1, 2026, with Newco (formerly Steel Newco Inc.) as the surviving entity, and replaced Synovus as the parent company. Each Synovus stockholder received 0.5237 shares of Newco stock for their shares of Synovus stock.
