Network 18 Media & Investments Ltd announced on October 15, 2025, the acquisition of 8.625 million equity shares and 2.255 million preference shares in IBN Lokmat News Private Limited for Rs. 25 crores, making IBNL a wholly owned subsidiary. IBNL, which operates the News18 Lokmat Marathi channel, reported revenues of Rs. 22.5 crores in FY 2022-23, expected to rise to Rs. 36.5 crores by FY 2024-25.
