Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd disclosed that the Joint Commissioner has imposed a penalty of INR 38,82,240 for non-payment of GST on guarantee commissions related to financial year 2021-22, with the order received on 4th November 2025. The company will appeal the order as it believes it has complied with GST regulations by discharging liabilities correctly.
