KANSAI Nerolac Paints has disclosed that they received an order imposing a tax of Rs. 1,86,12,842 and a penalty of the same amount due to disallowance of transitional input tax credit from FY 2017-18, but they will appeal against it as they have records to support their claim; overall, this has no material impact on their financials.
