JSW Steel has received a penalty order of Rs. 1,79,90,155 for alleged incorrect input tax credit claims for FY 2019-20, along with a tax demand of Rs. 11,42,37,379 and interest of Rs. 18,45,91,773; the company plans to appeal the decision.
